Attorney Rankin Johnson IV of Portland, OR; lying repeater

The state of Oregon provided Rankin Johnson IV with a law license in 1996.

The Oregon State Bar found Rankin guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to comply with client information requests
  • Made several misrepresentations (lies) to client
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Victim of misconduct was vulnerable

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Rankin’s 1st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand from the comedians sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Rankin by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2015) Rankin practices with Rankin Johnson IV LLC at 208 SW First Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
