Attorney Dennis Halterman of Rapid City, SD; lying loser

The state of South Dakota presented Dennis Halterman with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School.

The South Dakota State Bar found Denny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Intentionally misled (lied) to U.S. Magistrate Judge Marshall Young
• Overstated by $20,000 amount client would have to repay to Medicare
• Medicare file proved actual amount owed to Medicare was $8,069

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Denny’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two (2) cautions for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Montana Supreme Court punished Denny by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Denny practices at 1925 Peace Path in Rapid City, South Dakota.
