Attorney Philip Cohen of Waldoboro, ME; convicted batterer

The state of New York presented Philip S. Cohen with a law license in 1994 after he graduated from Tulane University Law School.

The Maine Grievance Commission found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Phil was arrested and charged with domestic violence assault. Less than one month later, he was arrested against and charged with disorderly conduct and violation of bail conditions after he telephoned and sent text messages to the same victim and assaulted her.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Colorado Supreme Court punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2016), Phil practices with the Law Offices of Cohen & Cohen PC at 898 Main Street in Waldoboro, Maine.
