Attorney Maria Salud of Southfield, MI; ethical elf

The state of Michigan presented Maria C. Salud with a law license in 1995 after she graduated from the Detroit College Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #77 found Maria guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to file immigration appeal in timely manner
• Failed to appropriately communicate with client
• Failed to seek lawful objectives of client
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Michigan Supreme Court punished Maria by gifting her with a complimentary 60-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2015), Maria practices with Maria C. Salud PLLC at 17100 West 12 Mile Road in Southfield, Michigan, which is a suburb of Detroit.
