In 1978, the state of Virginia presented David Allen Bowers with a law license after he graduated from Loyola Law School in New Orleans.

In order to supplement his income as a lawyer, Dave decided to go into politics. In 2008, Dave duped the voters in Roanoke into electing him as their mayor.

Shortly after the terrorist attacks in Paris (Nov. 2015), Dave responded by asking local agencies in and around Roanoke to suspend any assistance to Syrian refugees “until these serious hostilities and end.”  (Huffington Post)

Dave went on to say:

• “I’m reminded that President Franklin D. Roosevelt felt compelled to sequester Japanese foreign nationals after the bombing of Pearl Harbor." 
• “And it appears that the threat of harm to America from Isis is now just as real and serious as that from our enemies then.”

So here’s Screwy Dave arguing for a repeat performance of the infamous Japanese Internment Camps during World War II.

In truth, if we want to make the country safer and saner, we should consider rounding up all the Morons, Bigots and Lunatics like Dave and those of his ilk and depositing them in an internment camp in the middle of the Mohave Desert.
