Roanoke Mayor David Bowers: Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner In 1978, the state of Virginia presented David Allen Bowers with a law license after he graduated from Loyola Law School in New Orleans.
In order to supplement his income as a lawyer, Dave decided to go into politics. In 2008, Dave duped the voters in Roanoke into electing him as their mayor.

Congrats Dave; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Screwballs”; you are far too humble. |
