Tony Perkins says: ISIS won't attack South because they can defend themselves
This isn’t the first Award presented to Tony. In the past, he has been the recipient of thirty-three (28) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.
During a recent (mid-November 2015) airing of his daily comedy radio show “Washington Watch,” resident comedian and lunatic Tony Perkins interviewed fellow loon Rep. Steve Womack of Arkansas about ISIS attacks in Paris.
During the interview, the comic said ot was unlikely that ISIS terrorists would attack the South because “more of the citizens are armed” and “know how to defend themselves.” (Miranda Blue)
Womack then said:
Tony and Womack then had the following back and forth.
TONY: “I agree with you. I do think it’s less likely to happen in the South, where more of the citizens are armed. I’m serious.” WOMACK: “I’m just telling you, as a concealed carry permit guy myself and as somebody who represents a great district in the third district of Arkansas where there’s a lot of folks like us, it’s probably less likely that it would happen there, although if you want to make a statement there are many targets in the South that go right to the heart of who we are as Americans.” TONY: “That’s true, but we know how to defend ourselves.”
Womack proves he’s a total idiot by claiming there are more terrorist targets in the South when almost all of them have taken place in New York City and Boston. I’m confident that ISIS isn’t contemplating attacking Biloxi, Mississippi or Stone Mountain, Georgia.
And to suggest that those folks in the North are incapable of defending themselves is of course pure bunk. If memory serves me right, it was those folks up North that thoroughly kicked those folks asses in the South many, many years ago.
