Judge David Charlton of Buckinghamshire, UK; potty mouth loser

The Law Society presented David Charlton with a law license in 1997.

The Judicial Conduct Investigations Office found Judge Charlton guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Judge Charlton found it acceptable to make inappropriate comments both in the courtroom when the court was clearing and to the legal advisor and fellow Magistrates in the retiring room.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Judicial Commission punished Judge Charlton by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2015), Charlton continues to sit as a Magistrate to the Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Bench.
