Attorney Christopher Chestnut of Jacksonville, FL; ethical elf

The state of Connecticut presented Robert J. Barry with a law license in 2006 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

The Florida State Bar Commission found Chris guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Client’s case dismissed due to Chris’s inaction
  • Failed to provide relevant information to client
  • Failed to explain matters to extent necessary to allow clients to make informed decisions regarding representation

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Chris by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (November 2015), Chris practices at 841 Prudential Drive in Jacksonville, Florida.
