Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Dave. In the past, he has been the recipient of twenty-six (26) Awards in various categories. Those awards are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

Sen. Vitter is infamous for laughingly claiming to be a family values man and a born-again-Christian. However, that laughable claim was thoroughly debunked when he was caught as being a repeat customer of prostitutes offered by the DC Madam.

Vitter is now attempting to win the election to become the next Governor of Louisiana. Apparently, it is his desire to follow in the footsteps of the infamous former Gov. of Louisiana, Huey Long.

In a recent (early November 2015) stump speech, Vitter was critical of the separation of church and state and went on to denounce the Supreme Court’s marriage equality ruling, by asserting that gay rights advocates want their views: “shoved down the throats of folks who have sincerely held religious views that marriage is between one man and one woman.”

After stating his unyielding support for legislation that grants legal protections to those [assorted bigots] who oppose same-sex marriage, Dave went on to tell his fellow bigots:

• The court’s ruling “will clearly unleash all sorts of assaults against conservative Christian beliefs who believe that marriage is between one man and one woman.”
• “And make no mistake about it, those assaults are coming on churches, pastors and believers who are trying to live their faith in a quiet but important way, including in terms of how they choose to live their lives and run their businesses.”

Dave wound up his rant by saying:

• “They want to make believers like us second class citizens.” 
• “They want to completely push us out of the public square and in some cases persecute folks who simply want to live their faith in terms of how they do business and other things.”

So here we have the quintessential philanderer (means adulterer Jethro) and law breaker (hiring hookers) claiming that marriage is sacred because it is between one man and one woman.

Of course in Vitter’s demented world, he is allowed to have a relationship with more than one woman as long as the woman is a prostitute.

Hopefully, the voters in Louisiana tell this two-timing hypocrite to take a hike when it comes time to vote for a new Governor.

And lastly, one must seriously wonder why Dave expends so much energy in spewing forth hatred towards members of the gay community. Maybe we need to ask Dave the following:

“What’s in your closet, Dave?”

Congrats Dave; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigots”; you are far too humble.
