Attorney Charles Linn of White Plains, NY; convicted tax cheat

The state of New York presented John J. Napolitano with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Fordham University Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Johnny pled guilty in the United States District Court, Southern District of New York in Manhattan, to a charge of tax evasion, which was a federal felony.

Subsequently, Charlie was sentenced to three months in prison and two years of supervised release, three months of which was to be served under home detention.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Disciplinary Commission punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2015), Charlie practices with the Law Office of Charles B. Linn at 901 North Broadway in White Plains, New York.
