Attorney Jeffrey Stein of San Louis Obispo; apologist for Judicial Misfits

The state of California presented Jeffrey Stein with a law license in 1970 after he graduated from the University of California Hastings Law School.

In an overt attempt to suck up to disgraced judge San Louis Obispo County Superior Court Judge John Trice, Jeff decided to submit a written statement in support of Trice to the California Judicial Commission. In his letter of support Jeff made the following laughable claims about Trice.

• I have profound respect for his integrity [What integrity?]
• He has always been fair [except with ex-wife]
• He is creative [Yeah, when coming to evading alimony payments]
• I have professional admiration for Trice [Get off you knees Jeff!]

And the compassionate, individualized and balanced solution that Trice crafted was to avoid paying court-ordered alimony to his ex-wife in the form of his Air Force pension.

Hopefully, Judge Trice reimbursed Jeff for the costs he incurred in purchasing a pair of Industrial Strength Knee Pads.
