Attorney Carl Wright of High Point, NC; ethical gremlin

The state of North Carolina provided Carl R. Wright with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Wake Forest University Law School.

The Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar found Carl guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to perform monthly or quarterly reconciliations of trust accounts
• Failed to identify client source on deposit slips
• Used funds belonging to one client to pay another client
• Failed to promptly disburse client funds
• Failed to maintain legible copies of cancelled checks
• Engaged in conflict of interest

As a consequence of his misconduct the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Grievance Committee of the North Carolina State Bar punished Carl by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2015) Carl practices in the High Point, North Carolina area.
