Attorney Marc Pilgrim of Atlanta; repeat offender

The state of Georgia presented Marc Albert Pilgrim with a law license in 1995 after he graduated from the University of Georgia Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Bonnie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to inform hearing officer of client’s possible claim for age discrimination
  • Failed to ask hearing officer to place client’s case on hearing calendar within the time designated by Georgia law
  • Negligence led to client losing right to pursue claim
  • Failed to take any further action on client’s behalf in sexual harassment case
  • Failed to inform client of status of legal matter
  • Failed motion to dismiss client’s case without her authorization

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Marc’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Marc by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. November 2015), Marc practices with Pilgrim & Associates, PC in Atlanta, Georgia.
