Attorney Peter Plunkett of Austin, MN; scammer

The state of Minnesota presented Peter Daniel Plunkett with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the William Mitchell Law School.

The Minnesota Office of Lawyer Regulation found Pete guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in scheme to alter bail bond files
  • Attempted to scam Colorado Dept. of Ins. by lying that files of bail bond business were in compliance with Colorado law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Pete by gifting him with a complimentary 14-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Pete practices at 107 West Oakland Avenue in Austin, Minnesota.
