Trump believes Mich Savage qualifed to run Nat’l Institutes of Health

During a recent (early October 2015) appearance on The Savage Nation comedy radio show, resident comedian Michael Savage urged The Donald to consider appointing him as the head of the National Institutes of Health (NIH) when he’s elected president. Mike went on to feign his dislike of NIH by saying:

• “We have such corruption right now in science itself that there’s virtually almost no real, honest science anymore, and the best evidence I have for that is the fake global warming research.”
• “Almost every study that comes out is warped, it’s all corrupt.”

Mike then recommended that The Donald appoint him to head the NIH so that he could “clean up” the corruption and allow American to have “real science and real medicine again.”

The Donald responded to Mike by saying:

• “I I think that’s great.”
• “I hear so much about the NIH and it’s terrible.”

In a lame effort at levity, The Donald closed out by telling Mike that he would bring “common sense” to the NIH.

Appointing Savage to head the NIH would be akin to appointing Mel Gibson as head of Alcoholics Anonymous or of appointing Sen. David Vitter to be in charge of speaking to the values of monogamous relationships.
