Attorney John Mattingly Jr. of Prince Frederick, MD; ethical leprechaun

The state of Maryland presented John A. Mattingly Jr. with a law license in 1996 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Drafted/approved deeds that had improper notarizations
  • Knew or should have known that the deeds contained improper notarizations

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 90-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. May 2019) Johnny practices with the Office of County Attorney at 175 Main Street in Prince Frederick, Maryland.
