Attorney Frank Valenta Jr. of Blythewood, SC; ethical dwarf
The state of South Carolina presented Frank L. Valenta Jr. with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.
Disciplinary Counsel found Frankie guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Frankie found it acceptable to violate the rules of professional conduct by improperly communicating with judges and not with defendants in regards to appeals of traffic tickets.
It was reported that Frankie sent letters about return traffic tickets during appeals to judges and defendants with attorneys, but not to defendants who represented themselves (pro se).
As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme Court punished Frankie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
As we speak (ca. October 2014), Frankie is employed by the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) in Blythewood, South Carolina. |
