Attorney Edward Wintroub of Omaha; repeat offender

The state of Nebraska presented Edward L. Wintroub with a law license in 1965.

Disciplinary Counsel found Eddy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Asked client for $29,000 loan because he was struggling financially
  • Failed to sign loan agreement with a client
  • Failed to document collateral for client loan
  • Failed to advise client about risks of $29,000 loan

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Eddy’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand from the Iowa Supreme Court for engaging in the same misconduct as aforementioned.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Nebraska Supreme Court punished Eddy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Eddy practices at 308 South 19th Street in Omaha, Nebraska.
