Attorney Jana Dalmida of Sunrise, FL; ethical leprechaun

The state of South Carolina presented Jana M. Dalmida with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from St. Thomas University Law School.

The State Bar of Florida found Jana guilty of the following misconduct.

• Filed a frivolous (BS) counterclaim
• Filed sham counterclaim even though statute of limitations had expired
• Sanctioned $5,187 by trial court for frivolous conduct
• Knowingly disobeyed an obligation owed to a tribunal
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Jana by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
