Attorney Philip Elbert of Fairmont, MN; ethical gremlin

The state of Minnesota presented Philip Jay Elbert with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from William Mitchell Law College.

The Office of Lawyer Regulation found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonest or misrepresentation
  • Failed to maintain proper custody of evidence
  • Improperly disseminated confidential information during discovery process

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Minnesota Supreme Court punished Dick by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Dick practices at 1108 South State Street in Fairmont, Minnesota.
