Attorney Claire Ball Jr. of Athens, OH; serial criminal

The state of Ohio presented Claire Melvin Ball Jr. with a law license in 1967 after he graduated from Ohio State University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the Ohio Supreme Court found Claire guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, a grand jury indicted Claire with twenty-five (25) counts of complicity to tamper with election ballots, one count of tampering with ballots, and twenty-four (24) counts of complicity to falsely register voters. All of the charged criminal acts were felonies.

Subsequently, Claire pled guilty to thirty (30) misdemeanor charges; fifteen (15) counts of attempted complicity to tamper with ballots and fifteen (15) counts of attempted complicity to falsely register voters.

As a result of his guilty plea, Claire was sentenced to 18-months in prison and fined $30,000.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Claire by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Claire practices with the Ball Law Office at 11 East Washington Street in Athens, Ohio.
