Attorney Kyle Nolte of Spokane, WA; liar, repeat offender

The state of Washington presented Kyle Warren Nolte with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Gonzaga University Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Kyle guilty of the following misconduct.

While serving as an officer in the Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Department, was selected for an assignment that required a background check. While undergoing the background check, Kyle falsely answered one of the questions on a background questionnaire and failed to make full disclosure about another matter to the special agents with whom he interviewed.

Subsequently, Kyle disclosed these actions to senior Air Force personnel. Following an investigation, Kyle received a non-judicial punishment in the form of a reprimand and a $1,000 fine. He was subsequently advised that his service with the Air Force would be terminated. Kyle then submitted his resignation, and he was ultimately discharged “under honorable conditions.” He was required to repay over $20,000 in educational benefits received during his last years of service.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Kyle by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

In one matter, Kyle found it acceptable to knowingly make a false statement of material fact and/or failed to disclose a fact necessary to correct a misapprehension known by him to have arisen in the matter in connect with a bar admission or reinstatement application.
