Attorney Salvatore Scanio of DC; greedy liar

The District of Columbia presented Salvatore Scanio with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Tulane University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Sal guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, while he pursued his own personal injury claim arising out of an auto accident, Sal knowingly and intentionally engaged in conduct involving dishonesty when he made a claim to his insurance provider for lost income and lost bonus and subsequently when he falsely told his firm that he had explained to his insurance provider that he had not lost any income.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals Board punished Sal by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2016), Sal practices with Ludwig & Robinson at 1717 Pennsylvania Avenue NW in Washington, DC.
