Pat Buchanan: Today’s “Screwball” Award Winner

This isn’t the first Award presented to Patty. In the past, he has been the recipient of nine (9) Awards in various categories and/or the subject of one (1) opinion piece. Those awards and opinion piece are listed at the end of this article and can be viewed by going to the listed categories.

During a recent (late September 2015) interview with the Newsmax TV Comedy network, Patty compared Kentucky county Kim Davis’ noncompliance of court orders to issue same-sex marriage licenses to his efforts to convince President Nixon to defy a Supreme Court ruling on school desegregation. Comic host Rick Ungar asked Patty to explain why he would oppose a devout Muslim from becoming president due to his fear that his/her religion would trump the Constitution, when fellow bigots Mike Huckabee and others GOP presidential candidates continue to state that their Christian religion trumps U.S. law.

Patty answered Ricky by saying there were many examples of people rightly following “natural law” instead of obeying the courts. Patty went on to say that his Daddy, a devout Catholic, would have disobeyed a law mandating that he provide “abortifacients and contraceptives to his employees.” This proves that the Avocado doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Patty went on to say that he had personally advocated for civil disobedience when he advised President Nixon to defy the 1971 Supreme Court ruling that “called for district-wide desegregation and allowed for the use of busing to achieve integration.”

Patty then told Newsmax’s intellectually disabled viewers:

  • “I think that Davis [Kentucky clerk] did the right thing.”
  • “She defied the law and went to jail and paid the price, that’s the price of civil disobedience of an unjust law.”
  • “But I do believe this. When I was in the Nixon White House, I urged the president to defy court orders mandating court-ordered busing from counties into cities.”

It’s patently clear that Patty is a dyed-in-the-wool bigot who is yearns for the day when the Honkies dominated every aspect of American life. Put simply, the thought that minority groups such as Latinos, African Americans, Asians, Muslims and members of the gay community will eventually comprise the ruling class is something Patty the Bigot is not willing to accept.

Congrats Patty; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Lunatics”; you are far too humble.
