The state of Maryland presented James S. Williford Jr. with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from American University Law School. Jimmy also received a law license from DC in 1980 and Virginia in 1976.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to communicate with clients
• Negligence led to client’s case being dismissed

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
