Attorney Jonathan Portner of Columbia, MD; ethical elf

The state of Maryland presented Jonathan Portner with a law license in 1988 after he graduated from the University of Baltimore Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Jon guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Jon found it acceptable to engage in an egregious conflict of interest in his dual representation of boyfriend-girlfriend in a criminal matter.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maryland Supreme punished Jon by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. October 2015) Jon practices with Portner & Shure PA at 7226 Lee Deforest Drive in Columbia, Maryland.
