Attorney Patricia Thorne of Palm Springs, FL; repeat offender

The state of Florida provided Patricia Eloise Thome with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from Suffolk University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Patty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to communicate with client
  • Dismissed client’s case w/o discussing same with client
  • Failed to provide competent representation (moron)
  • Failed to abide by client decisions re: representation
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
  • Failed to keep client reasonably informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with client requests for information
  • Failed to take appropriate steps to protect client’s interests

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Patty’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. She previously received one complimentary reprimand

and one suspension of her law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Patty by gifting her with a complimentary admonition.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Patty practices at 1732 South Congress Avenue in Palm Springs, Florida.
