Attorney Maria Rodriguez of Tarpon Springs, FL; ethical dwarf

The state of Florida provided Maria Teresa Rodriguez with a law license in 1999 after she graduated from Florida State University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Maria guilty of the following misconduct.

• Violated rules regulating trust accounts
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client reasonably informed about status of legal matter
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Maria!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Maria by gifting her with a complimentary 30-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. October 2015), Maria practices in Tarpon Springs, Florida.
