Dr. Ben Carson says, It’s okay for Christians to refuse to do their government jobs
During a recent (early Sept 2015) interview on Fox News Comedy Network’s “The Kelly File,” Dr. Ben Carson, feigned support for Kentucky county clerk Kim Davis. (Brian Tashman) The following Q&A then took place:
The Right Rev. Carson laughingly said that that gays are attempting to force their “way of life” on Ms. Davis. Rev. Benny went on to say:
Megyn Kelly then asked Rev. Benny if he believed that a Muslim county clerk should have the lawful right to “refuse a marriage license to Muslims who want to marry Christians.” Rev. Benny responded by saying:
Rev. Benny’s argument doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test because the U.S. of A. is a country of laws, all of which can be found in the constitution and/or federal and state statutes. Nothing in the law makes mention of a Judeo-Christian nation.
Rev. Benny’s feigned support for Ms. Davis’s cheerful violation of the law was to garner support and contributions for his losing presidential campaign.
I wonder if Rev. Benny would have supported Ms. Davis if she refused to issue a marriage license to an African American male and a White female.
The bottom line here is that if Ms. Davis the Bigot doesn’t wish to provide marriage licenses to same sex couples, then she should quit her job and find employment as a greeter at the local Walmart store.
