Attorney Paul Clausen of Clinton, NJ; repeat offender

The state of New Jersey presented Paul Franklin Clausen with a law license in 1982 after he graduated from Rutgers University Law School.

The New Jersey Office of Attorney Ethics found Paulie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Conduct involved gross neglect of client matters
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Misconduct led to serious harm being inflicted on client

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Paulie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Supreme Court punished Paulie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. April 2016) Paulie practices with Clausen & Associates in Clinton, New Jersey.
