Prepare yourself for Anti-Gay Civil Disobedience
In a recent (early July 2015) column, conservative comedian Pat Buchanan heaped praise on Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin for refusing to obey an order from the Oklahoma Supreme Court to remove a Ten Commandments monument off of government land. Patty went on to say:
Patty then made the following asinine analogies (means likeness, Delmas):
Advocating for overt discrimination against members of the gay community is in no way the equivalent of Dr. King marching for racial equality or Rosa Parks who refused to ride in the back of the bus on December 1, 1955 in Montgomery, Alabama.
At 77-years-of-age, Patty ought to think about drumming up a personal relationship with fellow bigot Phyllis Schlafly who is 91-years-old. Who knows it could really blossom into something magical and special.
Maybe we could get the authors of the old nursery rhyme “Paddy Cake, Paddy Cake” to rewrite a version in honor of Patty and Phyllis, which would go something like this.
Pattycake, Pattycake, bigot’s man Bake me a bigot as fast as you can Roll it, pat it, mark it with a B Put him in the oven for Phyllis and me
