Attorney Christina Gilbert-Manuel of Champaign, IL; ethical elf

The state of Illinois presented Frank Christina E. Gilbert-Manuel with a law license in 2003 after she graduated from Southern Illinois University Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel found Christina guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Christina found it acceptable to pay a non-attorney $30,000 in finder fees as a financial planner for referring estate planning clients to her.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Christina by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Christina practices with ACT (Allied Capitol Title)  at 201 West Springfield, in Champaign, Illinois.
