The state of Illinois presented Thomas Michael Giacobbe with a law license in 1979.

The Disciplinary Commission found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Mismanaged client’s settlement proceeds
• Signed/notarized client’s name on answer to divorce petition after client fired him

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license.
