Attorney Coker Cleveland of Heflin, AL; ethical leprechaun

The state of Alabama presented Coker Bart Cleveland a law license in 2002 after he graduated from Samford University Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Coker guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to adequately communicate with clients
  • Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Coker!)
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice =
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Coker by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Coker practices with Cleveland & Foley Law LLC in Heflin, Alabama.
