Attorney Joseph Hudson of Jasper, AL; lying loser

The state of Alabama presented Joseph Wilburn Hudson with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the Birmingham School of Law.

The Alabama State Bar Association found Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law
  • Violated or attempted to violate rules of conduct, knowingly assisted or induced another to do so, or did so through the acts of another
  • Failed to deposit $1,400 advance fee into client trust account
  • Lied to client that he filed bankruptcy petition on client’s behalf

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Joey practices at 8334 Highway 195 in Jasper, Alabama.
