Attorney Angela Stewart of Lincoln City, OR; ethical goblin

The state of Oregon provided Angela M. Stewart with a law license in 1991 after she graduated from Williamette University Law School. Angie also received a law license from the state of Washington in 2003.

The Oregon State Bar found Angie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to keep client informed about status of legal matter
• Improperly disclosed info re: client
• Failed to properly communicate with client
• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Accepted payment of fees from someone other than the client
• Failed to obtain written consent from parties involved in conflict of interest
• Misconduct caused injury to client

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Angie by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
