Attorney Carl Burch of Winnipeg, CAN; ethical gremlin

The Law Society of Manitoba presented Carl Franklin Burch with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Manitoba Law School.

The Disciplinary Board of the Law Society of Manitoba found Carl guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to act with integrity
• Became involved in sexual relationship with client ‘
• During interview with psychologist, failed to disclose he was having sex with the mother he was representing in a custody matter

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Manitoba Law Disciplinary Board punished Carl by gifting him with a complimentary 1-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Carl practices with the Carl Burch Law Office LLP at 173 Daly Crescent in Brandon, Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.
