Attorney Randy Weiss of DC; thief

The District of Columbia presented Randy A. Weiss with a law license in 1981.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Randy guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Converted (stole) over $675,000 in fees owed to his firm
  • Engaged in conduct involving deceit, dishonesty, fraud or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the DC Court of Appeals punished Randy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in DC are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Randy was never criminally charged with grand theft.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Randy practices with Weiss LLP at 1150 Connecticut Avenue NW in Washington, DC.
