Attorney L. Eugene Hanson of Goldendale, WA; slacker

The state of Washington presented L. Eugene Hanson with a law license in 1968 after he graduated from the University of Washington Law School.

The Washington State Bar found Gene guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to keep client informed about status of matter
• Failed to comply with client information requests
• Failed to deposit client funds into identifiable interest-bearing trust accounts
• Failed to maintain complete records of client funds
• Failed to render appropriate accountings re: cleint funds

Because of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Gene by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (October 2016), Gene practices at 111 North Grant Avenue in Goldendale, Washington.
