Attorney Jason Rojas of Tallahassee; criminal

The state of Florida provided Jason Paul Rojas with a law license in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Jason guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, a college friend of Jason stole two Florida State University national football championship trophies from the university campus. On the same day, the friend went to Jason’s residence with one or both of the trophies and left one of them with Jason.

Although Jason was not involved in the actual theft, he retained possession of the stolen trophy for more than a year, until police retrieved it after the friend told them its whereabouts.

Subsequently, Jason was charged with Dealing in Stolen Property, a second degree felony, but entered into a deferred prosecution agreement.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Jason by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. April 2016), Jason practices at 402 South Monroe Street in Tallahassee, Florida.
