Attorney Matthew Boles of Des Moines; cheating loser

The state of Iowa presented James Matthew W. Boles with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from Drake University Law School.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found Matt guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Improperly withdrew fees from trust account before he earned them
  • Failed to notify client of withdrawal of client funds for fees
  • Failed to provide client with complete accounting of fees collected
  • Failed to keep client informed of status of legal matter
  • Failed to comply with client requests for information
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to promptly refund unearned fees (cheater)

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished Matt by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Matt practices with Parrish Kruidenier Moss Dunn Boles Gribble & Cook at 2910 Grand Avenue in Des Moines, Iowa.
