Attorney George Qualley IV of Des Moines; ethical misfit

The state of Iowa presented George Qualley IV with a law license in 2006.

The Iowa Supreme Court Attorney Disciplinary Board found George guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to inform client of transaction resulting in conflict of interest
  • Failed to promptly inform client of any decision or circumstance with respect to which client’s informed consent was required

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Iowa Supreme Court punished George by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), George practices in the Des Moines, Iowa area.
