Attorney Charles Albas of British Columbia; repeat offender

The Law Society of Saskatchewan presented Charles Louis Albas with a law license in 1976 after he graduated from the University of Saskatchewan Law School.

The Law Society of Saskatchewan found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Named himself as a contingent beneficiary in preparing client’s will
  • Names his wife as beneficiary in preparing a client’s will
  • Engaged in a conflict of interest
  • Failed to assure client obtained independent legal advice

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Charlie’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Law Society of Saskatchewan Committee punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary $7,000 fine.

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Charlie practices with Albas Wahl LLP at 104-2504 Skaha Lake Road in Penticton, British Columbia,, Canada.
