The state of West Virginia presented David S. Hart with a law license in 1999.
The Lawyer Disciplinary Board found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to file timely appeal on client’s behalf despite being paid $7,000

Failed to provide competent representation (Moron)

Lied to client that he had in fact filed appeal with Supreme Court

Failed to respond to client requests for information

Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

Failed to make reasonable efforts to accomplish client objectives

Failed to expedite client litigation

Failed to safeguard client property

Failed to exhibit any remorse for his egregious misconduct

Failed to provide client with accounting of legal services performed

Failed to refund unearned fees (crook) re: at least three clients

Misconduct involved multiple offenses

Exhibited indifference to making restitution victimized clients
As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.
As we speak (cal June 2015), Dave practices with Hayden & Hart PLLC at 102 McCreery Street in Beckley, West Virginia.
