State Rep. Greg Heartsill (IA): Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Congratulations to….

State Rep. Greg Heartsill (IA)

Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

In November 2012, Greg duped the voters in the Marion County area into electing him as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives.

In a recent (mid-June 2015), Grey appeared with comedian talk show host Jan Mickelson about the Iowa Governor’s upcoming Conference on LGBT Youth, which is an annual event organized by the anti-bullying group Iowa Safe Schools. (Brian Tashman)

Comedian Mickelson feigned outrage by saying that the organizers of the even should be criminally prosecuted for violating obscenity laws. Feigning such outrage affords Mickelson the opportunity to further enrich himself by fanning the flames of hatred and bigotry among his low I.Q. listeners.

In furtherance of ongoing effort to assuage his bigoted supporters, Greg followed up Mickelson’s bigoted comments by saying that he planned to be in contact with the Polk County prosecutor, where the conference is going to be held to see if the organizers broke the law. Greg then said:

  • “There’s a possibility of a criminal element.”

Mickelson followed up Greg’s asinine comment by saying:

  • “If were attempted just a generation ago, there would be people in jail already.”

Only demented Buffoons (my apologies to Buffoons) would suggest that someone in Iowa or anywhere else for that matter would or should be jailed for organizing an anti-bullying event. Apparently, these two self-serving bigots find it acceptable to bully members of the gay community.

And lastly, Iowa should consider making it a a criminal offense with mandatory imprisonment for morons that knowingly stoke the fires of hatred and bigotry as is the case with Greg and Mickelson.

One must question Greg’s over-the-top animus towards members of the gay community. Maybe we need to ask Greg the following question:

“What’s in your closet, Greg?”

Congrats Greg; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as one of Americas Least Appreciated “Bigots”; you are far too

Humble.
