Judge John Fielder of Bakersfield, CA; bully, serial offender

The state of California presented John Lancing Fielder with a law license in 1974.

Since receiving his law license in 1974, Johnny has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough. Apparently, no self-respecting law firm in Bakersfield was about to offer Johnny a good paying job.

The California Judicial Commission found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

On one occasions Judge Fielder and Judge Woodward met with Deputy Chief Court Executive Office for Court Operations Marie Castane regarding a decision to reassign Judge Woodward’s courtroom clerk. During the meeting Fielder displayed considerable irritation toward the administrator and engaged in aggressive discussions that were intimidating to the administrator.

In addition to the two (2) aforementioned instances of misconduct, Johnny previously received a two (2) complimentary advisory letters for acting in a harsh matter, intimidating a witness, and for improperly accepting a guilty plea.

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Johnny continues to sit as a Kern County Superior court judge in Riverside, California.
