Attorney Stephen Langsdorf of Augusta, ME; ethical misfit

The state of Maine presented Stephen L. Langsdorf with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

The Maine Board of Bar Overseers of the found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Made improper contact with party represented by counsel
  • Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary warning.

In truth, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Maine Supreme Judicial Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Stevie.

As we speak (ca. June 2015) Stevie practices with Preti Flaherty in Augusta, Maine.
