Attorney Charles Rutherford of Boca Raton; ethical misfit

The state of Florida presented Charles Erickson Rutherford with a law license in 1971 after he graduated from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit, Michigan.

The Florida State Bar found Charlie guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, instead of holding client funds in trust, Charlie deposited them into his operating account to reimburse the law firm for filing and related fees on numerous foreclosure actions.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Charlie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. June 2015), Charlie practices with the Rutherford Law Firm PL at 2101 NW Corporate Blvd in Boca Raton, Florida.
