Attorney Marcia Forsett of Frostproof, FL; Dumbo, repeat offender

The state of Florida presented Marcia Vestylena Forsett with a law license in 2007 after she graduated from Texas Southern University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Marcia guilty of the following misconduct.

Marcia’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

·  Failed to provide competent representation

·  Failed to advise client of status of her case

·  Failed to consult with client about how client’s objectives were to be accomplished

·  Failed to comply with client requests for information

·  Victim of misconduct was vulnerable

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Marcia by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

Marcia’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

In one matter, Marcia was found in contempt for failing to comply with the terms of a Sept. 4, 2014, court order. Specifically, Marcia was ordered to notify her clients, opposing counsel and the courts of her status and provide a sworn affidavit to the Bar listing the names and addresses of all persons and entities that received a copy of her suspension order.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Marcia by gifting her with a complimentary 91-day suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2015), Marcia practices with The Forsett Law Office at 11 Elkhorn Drive in Frostproof, Florida.
