The state of Missouri presented William Ernest Lawrence with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Billy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to deposit unearned fees in trust account
• Engaged in conflict of interest
• Failed to communicate with clients

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Billy by gifting him with a complimentary 2-year term of probation.

In truth, the comedians sitting on Disciplinary Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Billy.
